I think Rosa and I were talking about this last night for some reason. I think it was the topic of more women coming through power, and how it relates to Dune and setting up environments of competition. If girls are so fierce to each other already, compete from looks to brains to everything, and you add on top ambition encouraged by one’s environment (peers, parents, school, inspirational role models), then you’re gon produce. But in school, girls talk shit about other girls a lot. It’s not something I encountered between guys, much more cooperative or tame especially compared to movies growing up; we talk shit and talk behind backs (def not to the same extent), but I’ve never heard of straight up sabotage and bullying to the degree that I’ve seen in my school and through the drama I have seen through ex-gf, current gf, sister, sister’s friend group, friends in general, etc.
But this ferocity mixed with some women’s natural/DNA, environmentally-driven/ambition, or childhood displays why more and more are becoming national political leaders, highly respected executives (OpenAI, Facebook, Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, etc.).
