Market power and monopolization

Concentration is the thread running through most of what I write. Private markets are the right default, but past a certain size, capital stops competing and starts distorting: private equity rolling up mom-and-pop businesses, undercutting until the small competitor is gone, and platforms that resist change because the status quo pays them. See Power Imbalance and Leverage from Money's Perspective, Tackling Monopolies, and Most people never learn enough to deserve opinion.

I'm also interested in the effects of incentivization in the political and business aspect. Inspecting how you can rally people for your cause or cause certain incentives like at Google which ends up with toxic political work culture or VC ecosystem causing enshittification in the software market and even NYC restaurant market.
