  • 8 cups of rice / 6 (at most 8) American cups of rice
    • Glutonous rice flour
  • Wash the rice
  • Steam the rice in a huge steamer. Use a cloth to filter water and allow steam to penetrate. Make holes in the rice. Steam for 20 minutes
  • It’s done when the rice is tough but doesn’t taste like rice. It’ll be like dry.
  • Let the rice cool for a bit
  • 4 rice cake yeast balls dumped in a bowl of cold, filtered and boiled/no bacteria water. Let it soak. You also need to ground it gently by rubbing your fingers with it. Plenty of water.
  • Let it dissolve so there’s barely any chunks
  • Combine slowly with some water by scooping the water, then mixing. This can take like 7 minutes of proper combining
  • Then wrap it in a winter jacket for 3 days. The more rice cake yeast balls the faster it can ferment
